What we repair

Small engines have moods. Yesterday your mower ran fine; today it coughs once and pretends it never met you. That’s normal — we see this every day.

Some units only need a carb clean. Others need fuel lines, gaskets, ignition work or compression diagnostics. Either way — we explain everything clearly: what happened, what’s needed, how long it will take, and what options you have. No mystery invoices. No surprise parts. Just honest diagnostics and proper work.

What we repair

Our shop repairs most small-engine equipment used at home, around the yard, and on light job-site work: - chainsaws, trimmers, brushcutters - push & self-propelled mowers - stand-on and walk-behind lawn equipment - snowblowers - generators - water pumps & plate compactactors - hedge trimmers, edgers, leaf blowers - small garden tractors and riders (including Kubota-size yard tractors) If it has a small engine and fits through a garage door — we can usually bring it back.

Rentals — when you don’t need a repair

Not everything must be fixed. Sometimes you simply need the right tool today. We offer rentals for: - long-reach hedge trimmers - trimmers, blowers, brushcutters - walk-behind mowers - Viper-style mini-tillers - small pumps and compact job-site tools Perfect for one-time seasonal work, or when your own equipment is “on vacation”.

Used equipment — serviced and ready

We often have fully serviced units: small mowers, trimmers, blowers and seasonal finds. Everything goes through a full check and test-run before being put on the shelf. Inventory changes weekly — feel free to ask what’s available.

Before you bring your equipment in

A few small things help us diagnose faster: - remove loose grass & debris (we’ll handle the rest) - bring the key, battery and charger (if electric start) - tell us symptoms: won't start, stalls, hunts, smokes, no power - generators: what loads you tried running - snowblowers: shake off packed snow/ice if possible If something leaks fuel or oil, just mention it on drop-off.

FAQ

How long does a repair take?
Quick jobs usually take a few days. If we need to order parts, we’ll give a clear ETA.
Can you get parts for older models?
Often yes. If something is discontinued, we suggest compatible options or a repair path.
What if nothing helps and it still won’t start?
Then it's time for the Psalm of the Mechanic: "In the name of Compression, Ignition, and Mixture — let thy engine rise." O great God of Mechanics, hear us: Give the technician steady hands and a calm mind, So they won’t break tools in anger, But fix the machine with wisdom. Grant the carburetor cleanliness, The membranes elasticity, And the spark plug a flame unashamed to ignite. Protect us from cursed ethanol, Which eats hoses, swells gaskets, And steals compression in dark garages. Let the fuel not go stale, Let the cables not snap, And let the bolts not fuse when they’re needed most. And if after all our labour the engine still resists and stays silent, Guide us toward the truth: Where the leak is, where the spark went, Where the mixture hides, And what this small, noisy machine asks of us today. Amen to compression. Amen to ignition. Amen to mixture. And so let it start. Just a joke — no prayers needed. We fix engines with proper diagnostics, tools, and experience. If something won’t start, simply fill out the form or give us a call.
